The 2014 Annual KRB /St Mary’s Bowraville Holiday Camp will be held at Bowraville from Monday 22 September until Friday 26 September.
Alumnae of all ages are invited to join staff and families of KRB in a week of creative arts, cooking and friendship with the children of St Mary’s and the wider Bowraville community.
This year marks the 10th Anniversary of the invitation from Bowraville to “Sit down and listen” that KRB responded to wholeheartedly and the growth of a long term partnership in education and friendship between our Communities.

An introduction about Bowraville by Penny Sturrock (Alumna of Kincoppal Elizabeth Bay) in 2005.
- Kincoppal Rose Bay School, Sydney and St Mary’s School Bowraville
The beginnings of a long-term collaborative project between the two schools and their wider communities began in 2004. In the short term there are opportunities for young Alumnae of all Sacred Heart Schools and Colleges (particularly in the fields of health
sciences, education and nutrition) to consider work experience opportunities at this mainly indigenous primary school on the NSW North Coast (inland from Nambucca Heads)
- Bec Daniel, KRB Alumna, gave a very comprehensive talk at the 2012 ASCA Conference on her experience in being involved with the Bowraville Project.
- Once a year, usually in October, alumnae volunteers drive to Bowraville and look, entertain the children of St Mary's Catholic School in Bowraville.
- Last year, the school badly needed a new kitchen as the school feeds the children three meals a day. Fund raising was created and a substantial amount was raised.
